I couldn’t wrap my head around the idea of my 9 month old son being away from his familiar surroundings and faces all of a sudden. My heart was torn into pieces; I knew he would eventually have to go to daycare but not at such a young age.  She reminded me that a Daycare Facility is a professional space for people looking after kids, the teachers and everyone working there are actually better off than a child minder I leave at home alone with my child suddenly warmed up to the idea of him going to daycare and started to actually realize the benefits of that unanticipated change in his young life like spending the day playing with other kids.
